Peter T. Barts, P.G. President, Principal Hydrogeologist Peter Barts is a co-founder of HSA Golden. For more than 20 years, he has provided environmental consulting services to clients in the public and private sector. He is an alumnus of both the University of South Florida and University of Texas at Austin. He is a registered Professional Geologist in Florida. Pete is a recognized leader in site and contamination assessments, hazardous waste management, design and implementation of remedial systems, sinkhole investigations, water supply, and Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments. His designs for site renovation are noted for both innovation and cost-effectiveness. He is extensively trained and experienced in computer modeling for hydrogeologic and contaminant transport and is an expert in ground penetrating radar, gravimeter, magnetometer and electromagnetic geophysical survey methods. As an avid runner and cyclist, Pete competes in many Florida triathlons
and is slowly building his collection of hardware. |

Golden, P.G. Vice President, Principal Hydrogeologist Jim Golden, co-founder of HSA Golden, has 30 years of experience
in environmental and solid waste management consulting. Jim has
a B.S. degree from Indiana University and His expertise includes: landfill design, permitting, monitoring, and closure; hydrogeologic assessments; site and contamination assessments; and hazardous waste management. Jim has extensive experience in managing large, multi-disciplinary projects and acting as liaison with local, state and federal regulatory agencies. Away from work, Jim enjoys boating and fishing on both coasts of

David L. Leggett, P.E. Principal Engineer David has twelve years of experience as a civil engineer, including four years as a Senior Project Manager in the solid waste division at HSA Golden. He is a graduate of both Johns Hopkins University and the University of Central Florida, and he is a registered civil engineer in Florida, California, and Oregon. David’s experience includes solid waste facility engineering, land development, stormwater, roadway, and rail projects. He has provided specifications, bid documents, supervision of subcontractors, and construction support services for several multi-million dollar infrastructure projects, including South Florida's Tri-Rail commuter rail line and California's Carmel Valley Ranch. In his down time, David also enjoys golf, working out, and cheering on the Orlando Magic. |
