Client required engineering consulting services to design, construct, and monitor an 80-acre construction and demolition debris (C&D) disposal facility. |
| Scope: |
- Permit 10 acre expansion.
- Design and permit a landfill slope toe berm to allow a 3:1 sideslope expansion cell.
- Obtain FDEP Solid Waste permit and Environmental Resource Permit.
- Drill Standard Penetration Test (ASTM D1586) borings.
- Install monitoring wells and piezometers.
- Perform slug testing.
- Provide project management services for design and compliance with FDEP and county requirements.
- Implement Operations Plan and Groundwater Monitoring Plans.
- Conduct ongoing semiannual groundwater and surface water monitoring and reporting.
- 3:1 sideslope added 200,000 cubic yards airspace capacity.
- 10-acre expansion increased the facility’s landfill airspace by 1M cubic yards.
