| Need: |
Client required state and county permits for construction of a 49-acre landfill on an expedited basis. Once operational, odor control monitoring, compliance monitoring, and associated reporting services were needed. |
| Scope: |
- Design and permit landfill with both Orange County and FDEP.
- Obtain Orange County zoning and development boards approvals for the landfill use as a Special Exception.
- Manage semiannual/biennial groundwater and monthly gas monitoring and reporting.
- Design landfill gas treatment system.
Prepare permit renewal application in 2005 to obtain a successful FDEP permit renewal under Rule 62-701, F.A.C.
- Prepare quarterly Odor Monitoring Reports for FDEP submittal.
- Designed and permitted landfill within 12 months.
- Maintain, on an ongoing basis, facility compliance with monitoring and odor control requirements.
